Having concerns with your Biosecurity Program? Are you confident in your cleaning and disinfection protocols?
The AccuPoint2 Sanitation Monitoring System provides fast, and measurable results that can be used to evaluate biosecurity programs and specific cleaning and disinfection efforts in real time. The AccuPoint2 system uses a rugged, handheld unit and specially designed samplers to measure Adenosines Triphosphate (ATP) collected from surfaces or water samples. There are three types of AccuPoint2 Samplers available, engineered for sampling in each unique application.
1. AccuPoint2 Surface Sampler - The perfect choice for consistent sampling of most contact surfaces
2. AccuPoint2 Access Surface Sampler - Created specifically for testing in hard to reach spaces such as cracks and seams
3. AccuPoint2 Liquid Sampler– Specifically designed for evaluating a liquid sample
The specialized AccuPoint2 samplers collect Adenosines Triphosphate (ATP) by rubbing the pad located on the tip of the sampler across a surface or by dipping it into liquid. The sampler is then returned to its cartridge and the collected ATP on the sample pad is activated with the Luciferin / Luciferase compounds located on the bottom of the cartridge. The chemicals mix and the amount of light produced is then measured by an illuminometer contained in the handheld unit. The generated results are then assigned as a pass, marginal or fail based on the AccuPoint2 unit’s pre-established thresholds which can be customized to meet your specific hygiene requirements in the accompanying Data Management software.
The AccuPoint2’s sampling devices are designed to provide greater sampling effectiveness and consistency.
- The samplers use a sample pad with a large surface area and sturdy design to consistently collect and detect potential sources of ATP
- The increased pressure that can be applied with the AccuPoint2’s sturdy samplers make them better able to penetrate surface crevasses, and break up existing biofilm to capture previously undetected organisms
