A crucial part of any Biosecurity Program is the effective disinfection of footwear prior to proceeding into a controlled area. Depending on your site's requirements, we offer several types of Disinfecting / Sanitizing foot mats (sometimes called foot baths). Disinfection Mats are an important biosecurity tool and are ideal for use at fish hatcheries, poultry hatcheries, zoos, sea life centers, agricultural farms and laboratories.

	The Large Disinfection Mat is made with a tough textile exterior, inside which is a special absorbent material. The sides and bottom are sealed to prevent leakage and very little solid matter will penetrate the mat's surface so there is little chance of neutralization of the disinfectant. The mat works by using the hydraulic pressure created when standing on the mat, which causes the disinfectant to rise up around the footwear.
	The Mini Disinfection Mat is a lower cost, smaller, lighter weight version of the Large Disinfection Mat with the same tough textile exterior, special absorbent material interior and sealed sides and bottom to prevent leakage.
	The High Wall Rubber Disinfection Mat is made of heavy-duty, chlorine resistant black rubber and incorporates rubber fingers on the base to help scrub the soles of footwear while the surrounding solution sanitizes them. This unique double-action helps keep contamination from reaching critical areas. There are other lower cost rubber mats available but they normally are not chlorine resistant and they will not hold up over time like our rubber mats. (These are NOT Wearwell brand mats.) The High Wall Mat is designed for use in areas where the footwear disinfection application requires deeper foot immersion compared to the fabric mats.
	The Low Wall Rubber Disinfection Mat is a smaller, shallower version of the High Wall Mat and is made from the same heavy-duty, chlorine resistant black rubber with the rubber fingers on the base to help clean and sanitize footwear.
	The Mobile Disinfection Mat is an ideal mobile disinfection solution for people who travel site-to-site. The mat can be pre-filled with disinfecting solutions and the case closed for travel.
